Welcome to Assetly ("us", "we", or "our"). We operate the Assetly website (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore (Google Cloud Platform) to store and manage user data. Google employs strong security measures to protect data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Generative AI Data Usage

When you use the AI generation features, the prompts you provide (which may include text and uploaded files like images or documents) are sent to third-party AI service providers (e.g., Google via Genkit) to generate the requested asset.

  • We do not store your prompts or generated assets long-term beyond what is necessary for providing the service (e.g., temporary storage for display, inclusion in 'My Assets' if applicable).
  • The AI service providers we use have their own data usage policies. We configure our requests to minimize data retention where possible, but you should review the policies of the underlying AI providers (e.g., Google AI) for details on how they handle data.
  • Do not include sensitive personal information (e.g., social security numbers, financial details) in your prompts.

5. Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. This includes:

  • Google Cloud Platform / Firebase: For authentication, database, hosting, and analytics.
  • Google Generative AI: For AI content generation features via Genkit.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You can manage some of your information (like display name) through your Account Settings page. For other requests, please contact us.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
